Just watched this, how lucky was he! Pays not to ignore the return to home warning!

why was it only going 9 m/s (20 mph) on the return to home? more efficient for battery?

I've seen quite a few drone rescues and that one definitely had some "pucker factor" to it. I feel that he knew the terrain well enough to know that he could ditch it on the sand bar if necessary.

He is a very bold perhaps over-confident flyer.
There's another good one a week or two back following a trackway along a cliff face worth watching.

That wasn't me, it's just a video I'd seen on YouTube.

He knows about that, though I didn't understand why it was in ATTI on this occasion.
Look at his other videos he's very experienced with it.
