Saving info of settings

Got a real newbie question here, sorry if it has been discussed before, tried to find info on it. but no luck. When setting up your controller via iPhone or iPad, such things as camera settings, altitude max and turning main bottom lights on and such items as this, mine always goes back to the default settings for each new flight, like when it's new. Surely there is a way to save this info without having to reset this with each new flight. Thanks for any advice.

Those settings can only be saved if your drone is connected to DJI GO while you're setting them.
