Slow control with goggles on

hi all!
Took her out with goggles for 1st time. I just did a quick flight over to a restaurant I’m working on. This wasn’t too far and had good connection but when I approached site all of a sudden my controls slowed down. Push stick forward or backward and would
Move real slow.
I got nervous and brought it right back. Is any reaction to having the goggles on?
A setting adjustment?

I wasn’t within 100’ of anything. It was windy but don’t think it was that as it was so sudden. Flying fine and then what seemed like tripod mode kicked in.
Hopefully I can get out tomorrow and test without and see and then with again.
