Smart controller lanyard mounting screws

M4-0.7X12mm Machine screws.

So my fly more kit came with these lanyard mounting screws that needed to be removed to store the controller in my MC-Case.


So I found these screws at Home Depot along with large washers that I drilled small holes in for the clips that made it possible to keep everything attached while in the case.



I had to trim a small amount of foam for the washers but it fits perfect.


A comparison to the old screw.


Next I'll paint them black and they will be perfect.

Those would stick out too far and the controller wouldn't fit my case that's why I went the other way.
Yours does look clean though.

I use a "fly more" soft case for the pro 2 and smart controller fits fine in there.

My case does not provide enough room for those, I have a soft case that does though.

I, too, have the screws from Starz. Here is my setup, shown in the photos below. I use a Blackrapid DSLR quick-draw sling camera strap with a second clasp attached. Obviously it easily fits in this GPC case with interior foam top.

That’s in the photos and as you can see its perfect. 2 x Stainless Steel Hex Screws. Ive now sorted a 3D printed rear port cover to keep dust and dirt out of the usb, hdmi ports.
