My problem is that my Galaxy S6 brightness is only acceptable when the sunlight hit the sensor directly.
In this case phone use the so called oled "supermax brightness" mode, which is brighter than normal max mode,
has washed out colors, but easily visible.
But as soon as i go to a shade (or make a little shade with my right hand, which is very often..) phone goes back to normal
max mode, which is barely visible.
So i thinked i place a small, bright led direcly above the lightsensor, so i can always use the supermax mode.

My questions:
1) if i use the remote left usb connection to my phone, can i use the bottom usb for having 5V? (So no battery needed for my led.)
2) This led will be good, or any other recommendation?
3) Anybody made such mod? :)

thanks!

There should be an auto-bright mode you can un-check in the phone...
Some have reported apps tend to over-ride this and re-enable it.

Sorry, you are not familiar with supermax-brightness mode, which is not controllable by user, only the sun.. (thats why i wrote "which is brighter than normal max mode").

Please read carefully.

A simple 5050 diode will be enough, because supermax mode is enabled from 40.000 lux!
:)
