Taking my drone through southwest...

is that gonna be problematic?
Nope. Just pack it in your carry-on bag and make sure the batteries are stored in a local where the terminals are covered.

Flew Southwest last month with my Mavic Pro and four batteries. TSA asked what was in the hard case and when I told them it was a UAS they didn't even bother opening the case. Just bring it carry on and you'll be fine. (Photo was taken at PHX)

LiPo bags are good to use if you have them. However, they are not a requirement for taking batteries on a plane.

I have traveled Southwest ones and I use the Nanuk 920 case for my Drone and for my Battery's I use a Safe Bag Lipo Safety Guard Fire Resistant Lipo for the DJI Mavic Pro.
