The irrational fear of my first flight(s).

My still biggest fears happen when a stranger starts to walk towards me immediately after seeing my controller or MA2 and realizes I’m the operator.

I was very nervous with my Phantom, Phantom 2, and Phantom 3. I was worried quite a bit about fly aways with these three, especially the first two. I couldn't stand it and rarely flew them after a while.

I bought a Mavic Mini, and it flew so well, most of my nervousness disappeared. I'm still careful, but I'm not nervous. That will probably change if... (I don't want to go there.)

I sold the Mini and bought an MA2, and it has instilled some confidence in that it is performing very well so far. It's been enjoyable. I've come to believe I (an old fart) bought this to have fun, and like Snoopy being taken to a park by Charlie Brown, I'd dang well better have fun after all the money I spent. <GRIN>
