The Mavic 4 Pro is coming to Canada and Mexico, but not the USA (for now).

we already have to wait till June until the one with the fancy remote comes out anyways and the ND filters.. I am going to be sad about it if they still aren't selling in USA by then. I am betting they probably will by then.
From Wisconsin here, have to play the waiting game also.I would get the fly more with the RC2,Not the pro version controller to me that controller gets away from the nice portable factor and the extra cost for me is not needed.

Should but almost never does.

Snuggling - technically since the drone is over $800 you need to pay import duties if you declare it.
What is the value of a drone without a battery or controller? Is that under $800?
What's the value of a battery? Is it under $800?
Is a controller under $800?

I'm curious, when you're at customs, do you declare everything and if it adds up to over $800...

You know what I'm sayin'

Where have you read that the new Creative Combo isn't available yet? I've seen them with reviewers unboxing and flying them everywhere on YouTube.

I traveled extensively to Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean for many years with photo gear. Basically, they are looking for new merchandise that people smuggle in to resell. When I take gear with me, I always have documents for leaving and re-entering any country I travel to (for the US and whatever other country I'm going to). It's a risk to bring in an expensive product in a box that is obviously brand-new without declaring it. If caught, I guess the best outcome would be them confiscating it until you pay the duty on it. The worst outcome would be them keeping it. I'd be very hesitant to try that. My cases have been searched many times as they confirm my paperwork is in order, coming into the US. You just never know when they will stop you and check. Just my two cents....

DJI doesn't void warranty. They might deny a warranty claim but nobody gets a letter or a phone call from DJI telling them their warranty is no good. Do we really have to re-visit this topic, I thought we as a country settled this decades ago when manufacturers routinely preyed on American consumers with bogus warranties.

I do envy those living in a democracy where they can buy what they want and travel where they want and do not have to deal with laws created by far right religious zealots.

During the Vietnam War I was one number away from being drafted and having to move to Canada. In retrospect I should have moved there anyway.

Is this a fact or just an assumption? Any documentation to support your assertion?
DJI warranty coverage works based on country of origin purchase. If you purchase in Canada, warranty coverage would need to be sent in from Canada.
Same would apply if purchased in Taiwan. Product would need to be sent back from Taiwan. Above information is available via DJI. Call them and ask or contact support.

Sounds like you should have.

Au contrere. Anyone in the U.S. filing a warranty claim on the Mavic 4 Pro will be told their DJI manufacturer's warranty is no good, if they bought a gray market Mavic 4 Pro. Buying a Mavic 4 Pro outside the U.S. and bringing it into the U.S. currently voids the warranty on any claims within the United States. DJI says so.

DJI made the decision not to sell the Mavic 4 Pro in the U.S.., not the U.S. government. You can't buy what the manufacturer themselves has decided not to sell in any country, including in Canada, unless you buy gray market goods without any warranty.

Besides, there is a reason many Canadians have moved to the U.S., and it certainly isn't politics! It's the weather! Ever hear of the Canadian snowbirds? LOL! In Canada, half the year, you can neither play golf nor fly a drone in sunny weather.

While I, too, would have braved Canada over Viet Nam, it would never have been my forever home!

If the only consideration was being able to buy a Mavic 4 Pro with a DJI warranty. LOL! Anyone who really wants a Mavic 4 Pro in the United States can easily still get one in Canada or Mexico, and maybe from B&H, if they decide to sell gray market Mavic 4 Pro units, just like they do gray market Nikon and Canon gear!

Until DJI creates a new NFZ over the entire U.S. solely for the Mavic 4 Pro, the only downside to buying one elsewhere and bringing it in to the U.S. is the lack of a DJI warranty. So what! Frankly, in 10 years of owning some 30 DJI aircraft, I have never had a warranty claim!

I think people may be overreacting. B&H is taking orders and quoting a price based on current conditions that I assume they will honor, so DJI must be working on this with them and other retailers. I'm sure DJI wants to sell them here as soon as possible and whatever the holdup is will be rectified soon.

I just talked to a B&H rep and they are no longer taking pre-orders on any of the three Mavic 4 Pro drone kits they have listed. Two say "Notify When Available" and the Creator Combo says "Request Assistance".

They are still accepting pre-orders on accessories for now though. I placed my Creator Combo preorder shortly after the launch, who knows if it will ever be filled.

Sadly, you seem proud that you’d have moved to Canada to avoid serving the country you live in, and from which you benefit. Never too late, nor too early for dodgers to move north. I’m proud to have had a father who risked his life and fought in WW2.

I proudly served in the Navy and had my last year during the Gulf War, received a medal of commendation for finding a crack in a tail rotor blade that was missed earlier that day while parked in the stack. The pilots and aircrew were sitting in the bird at night while on the deck on alert 5, had they flown it would have failed and they would have perished.

There is no way on earth I would serve under the current administration, it fully goes against anything and everything a lot of us swore an oath to protect.

Your milage and outlook may vary...

I'm not willing to judge anyone on whether or not they avoided a draft.
Especially when the decision to dodge the draft was for an offensive operation and not a defensive one.

I have no problems defending the country. I have a problem going on the offensive.
I'm too old to be drafted and was too young to be drafted before but if they were to have told me to go, I would have thrown up a metaphorical middle finger.

I noticed that yesterday too. Strange situation for sure.

The insiders say otherwise as it's 100% the U.S. Government and Not the tariffs, etc... But who cares why when the fact is we can't get them!
