Ironically I can't put them on yet because I need to fly the drone after yesterday's crash to make sure its not broken

If it flies OK I won't have to worry about rain anymore@Mel 08 ,its the same when you are wondering whether to charge your batteries to go flying the next day,you check the weather forecast and think i will not bother as it does not look that good ,then next day it turns out great the wind drops and by then its to late to bother by the time everything is charged, and by the same token you charge up for next day,and it turns out to be blowing a gale or pouring with rain i call it" sods law"and it will get you everytime
I usually just sit under the open split boot of my discovery@Mel 08 very true, please let us know how you get on with the wet suit, and get yourself a good umbrella to keep you and the RC dry as well
Guys I just cleaned up this thread a bit.
Carry on.?

Do they offer a warranty or guarantee in case of drone damage on that gear?
I just don't see why you people are so interested in flying in the rain??? I don't think you'll be able to get very good images with water hitting the lense. Where's the motivation coming from? ?
There is a YouTube clip showing someone pouring bottled water over an Air 2 as a test whilst it hovers, without the drone missing a beat! Amazingly, some general rain is unlikely to stop this drone. (But I won’t try it!) ?All the way from the good old US of A.
