lifes like that the irony of it dont you just love it

@Mel 08 ,its the same when you are wondering whether to charge your batteries to go flying the next day,you check the weather forecast and think i will not bother as it does not look that good ,then next day it turns out great the wind drops and by then its to late to bother by the time everything is charged, and by the same token you charge up for next day,and it turns out to be blowing a gale or pouring with rain i call it" sods law"and it will get you everytime

If it flies OK I won't have to worry about rain anymore

Fantastic, be sure to watch the Install video on the Wet Suit and how to break the air tight seal on the Battery.
Thanks for posting.

Do they offer a warranty or guarantee in case of drone damage on that gear?

Unfortunately I had a crash yesterday and were having thunder storms today.
Am not putting suit on until I can make sure it flies OK.
Am sure it will be OK but don't want to put skins on if it's broken.
Then when i do put them on it probably won't rain for a month lol.
Have watched video a few times.
Cheers Mel

I just don't see why you people are so interested in flying in the rain??? I don't think you'll be able to get very good images with water hitting the lense. Where's the motivation coming from? ?‍♂️

If you make money with your drone , than being able to fly rain or shine is a huge plus .
If your Search and Rescue you can now saves lives when it rains.
Storms offer some of the most beautiful pictures you will ever take with your drone
Clouds and Lightning our epic.
People get caught in the rain when they lease expect it.
Water drips off the lens and clear in seconds so not to much of an issue.
Most of the time you fly in the rain your camera will never even pick up the rain drops unless its pouring.
You also have the 8K hyper Lapse which is a huge incentive to want to capture some storm activity.

There is a YouTube clip showing someone pouring bottled water over an Air 2 as a test whilst it hovers, without the drone missing a beat! Amazingly, some general rain is unlikely to stop this drone. (But I won’t try it!) ?

How does cooling work when the wet suit covering the vents?

The vents are not blocked, what we found worked on the Phantom So well was that we created a Double Layer over the Vents , creating a safe space so to speak and made the opening a little smaller . The vents have never been an issue when flying in the rain, but we took precautions anyway on the Mavics by protecting them with a Double Layer.
