The carbon border adjustment mechanism, CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism), is the EU's new tool for preventing carbon dioxide leakage, i.e. controlling emissions to countries outside the EU. The mechanism is applied to so-called CBAM goods (which are determined in an EU regulation) that are imported from a country outside the EU into the EU.
The obligations apply to all companies and individuals who import CBAM goods. The supervisory authority is the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.
Something to consider, it's not getting any cheaper to fly drones.
