This is why you should never use a CPL for panos/360s!

Posting this screw up as an example - why you should never use a polariser when doing wide field of view panoramics or 360s.
The screw up in the sky is impressive..And the whole image destroyed!


I've done this so you dont have to. CPL and wide angle should never be combined.

Thanks, you might have saved someone from the same.
Polarizers are only good when 90 degrees away from light source.

Yep. But sometimes its easy to forget if you launch with one for stills then randomly decide to do a 360 while there
