Sorry if been covered before as new to this site. Can anyone give any names of insurance companies to cover my mavic pro? Looking for a recreational cover to cover damage mainly should it occur with possibly water damage and mechanical failures. TIA

Liability insurance can be had via the BMFA or FPV UK - Flying Model Aircraft and Drone Membership, Advice & Support
You will be hard pressed to find insurance for any kind of quad damage though as most British insurers won’t touch a quad, it may be covered under home insurance though

Photoguard will cover drones. It aint cheap though.
