It's been on the way since the Mavic 2 was released two years ago.
"Rumours" of the impending release of an M3 have been appearing for the last 1.5 years.
No-one has any idea when/if it will be released and no-one will have any idea until just a couple of weeks before release.
Anyone who claims to know, doesn't.

I’m in the same boat - looking to make my purchase in the next few weeks and had finally landed on the Pro, but then tonight I found a teaser for 2020.10 on the DJI site...looks like an announcement is coming but I haven’t found a good source on what. The first concrete information that shows up is usually the FCC approval and there has been none so far.
If it had been issued, it would be well known by now.
