Hi. Anybody know how many Amperes can be taken from Mavic battery? I have one with cells disbalance, seems that soon it can't be used for flights. So, I have an idea to use it as jump starter for car, if it can deliver at least 200A/12V for 2-3 sec.

Maybe another ideas how to use old battery (exept 5v powerbank)?

Repair / Fix

If Mavic battery pack is out of balance or bad then

Crack it opean
Install a 3s balance connector
Balance charge with a 3s LiPo charger

Thank you, this is helpful post.
But I'm not sure how complicated disassembling and right assembling battery for unexperienced. Some mechanical or soldering mistakes can end sadly in the air..

Some use cases without cracking battery should be interesting too.
I can't find any info about cells type and maximum current (or C-rating).
Is it any specification printed on cells inside the battery?

Man.. That is cool. I have one of those around here somewhere.

I did not want to post this but here goes

My LiPo I use in the air are at most 1800mAh

Car jump battery will be about 750CCA that is 750 Amps
LiPo I use to fly will be about 1800mAh that is 1.8 Amps or 18CCA

AH to CCA is about 10 to 1
but
Still 18AH 6s LiPo is nothing compared to a 750CCA 12v battery
and
DJi is only 3s
You are all wrong.
Lipo batterys are rated by C rating and a Mavic Battery is about 20C meaning it can discharge 20 times its amperage rating. So 3800mah or 3.8amps x 20 = 76amps continuously. But for a short duration of 30 seconds can deliver 600 to 700 CCA which is enough to jump start most cars.
A 5000mah 35C lipo will deliver upto 900 CCA. Good enough to start deisel cars and SUVs and is what is in most small portable rechargeable jump starters now available.

mine measures 8c. I used this meter to measure it.

DJI batteries are low-C, high energy density types. Not the best for that use at all.
