vision positioning module data error: please contact dji support

Anyone ever had this message pop up? It did not alter the flight at all and ended up going away.

You might have a loose contact in your VPS system. If the message came but went away, its probably intermittent.

Usually if its a VPS calibration error, it will let you calibrate, and take care of the message.

So it did tell me to do a vision position system calibration a few weeks ago. And I did that a little over a week ago. First time that I’ve done one

Well, if it isnt messaging you again, then you might be good for now. If it starts doing it more often, you probably have something loose in the system.

Does you drone land on RTH pretty close to where it took off from? Does it slow itself down when descending for a landing?

Sometimes it does and sometimes it’s a few meters off. I had attributed that to windy conditions or if I had changed the yaw while RTH. It does slow itself down during landing but it seems like a pretty normal rate

You might want to take a look at the bottom at all the sensors and cameras. Make sure none are cracked or dirty.

Hi I crashed my drone, mavic 2 pro.
Crash due a vision positioning module data error.... I do the calibration but the drone don't work well! The drone don't hover, when I takeoff normally the drone hold in hovering but when I leave the left stick (mode 2) the drone lost altidude quickly... I sent my Drone to dji European assistant, they analyze my drone e is a problem with the Vps module, no pilot fault, warranty, but they tells me that my drone had a Chinese Serial number and the can't help me...
