your warranty is still legally their even if you use a non authorized dealer. this just happened to apple here in the US.

While this is technically true, in practice it means very little. While removing the sticker doesn't void the warranty, if you cause any damage while repairing it, your warranty is void, and that is what they will say. That your messing with it broke it. Or they simply tell you your warranty is void and refuse to do anything. Your only recourse then is a lawsuit. At that point, it's no longer financially viable and they all know this. So they basically have a "sue us...lol" policy.
