I’m rural and somewhat isolated as far as other pilots go. I only know one other person with a drone but he has a mini also. Yesterday I made the trip to Best Buy for another reason and they had the mini beside an Air 2 and what a difference in size! No wonder it handles the wind better. I just wanted to share my reaction.

I started with a Mini and upgraded to the MA2 and as much as the Mini is uncanny how well it handles wind for it's size, the Air is another level when comparing the 2. I also live in Scotland so wild winds are a regular thing. LOL

The Mini 2 which should announce this week will reportedly spec better wind levels and maintain the same size. I assume they achieve this with more powerful motors.. However I suspect it still will not be quite as stable as the Air 2.

I own two MP's, love them, put I am looking at the MM2, going to wait a while until more info is released about the new ID system. I love the new MM2, because it has a 2.0 ocusync system, which will improve RC connection, less interference. And, better camera. Still, not stable on Windy days, but love that's its small and not as visible as my MP.
