what kind of box does mavic pro come in?

i ordered one for xmas for my dad, we will be new to the hobby, and i was expecting a shiny manufacturer box with pretty pictures, but everything is just in cardboard boxes. i just want to make sure i'm getting a first quality, normal unit. i got regular mavic pro fly more from a 3rd party seller at amazon. thanks!

Did you open the cardboard boxes?

You should find the Mavic box inside.

Thanks so much. I feel stupid for posting and not confirming. My sister and i went in on the purchase together for my dad. She looked in the box as it went to her house, and told me that they were just regular nondescript cardboard boxes, so i panicked and jumped the gun. I just went to open the box myself, and it looks good. I see DJI.com written on the side of a box, and 2 white boxes, and one brown cardboard with a DJI sticker, so without taking things out, all looks authentic. Thanks. I'm sure my father and i will be on here asking more soon. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all.

If you got the Fly More combo, it'll come in a few boxes:

One outer cuboid box (minor warning messages about LiPo batteries etc. but otherwise unbranded).

Three inner boxes (one large white Mavic box, one white Fly More box with additional batteries etc, and a nondescript brown box with the signature DJI shoulder bag).

Make sure to keep hold of that outer box - it comes in handy for packing everything together neatly and securely.

When I recieved my Mavic pro combo it arrived in this.

My fly more combo came with all items in one DJI box which was boxed in a normal generic brown cardboard box. This was from a reputable seller in the U.K. so don’t worry, this is normal!

Mine came in a brown box too. But, the brown box was in a much larger white box.

haha. yes, looks like mine has the 3 boxes, 2 white and one cardboard, like the one pictured above. guess it should be good. we'll see after xmas opening...

I received the same when imported from China. Not sure if the UK/EU Version has separate boxes for the extras.

Packaging changed some time early this year. They kinda needed a single nice box for the FM combo if they wanted to show that in retail stores.

mine came in one well made black box with a white surround, fly more package, has a carry handle, looks rather smart.
