None of you need a fancy foam formed drone carrying case unless your going to put it in the baggage compartment of an airplane during travel. For daily use, i bought a $30 rectangular, medium sized SOFT cooler container that is used for camping. It has a bottom large container for drinks (the size of a six pack), but I took the plastic drink holder out and now it is a soft cushion compartment for the drone. The batteries fit behind it, away from the camera. The top has an expandable soft compartment that fits the drone controller perfectly. There are side compartments for all of the drone's accessories. It's lighter and easier to carry. It's completely water resistant. See Photos. The 1st pick is the top compartment with a modded alientech controller, the second is the drone in the bottom compartment with one battery behind it. It can hold more batteries. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
Alas, i can not use a form fitting type carrier. I have modded my controller and extended the legs on my drone, thus keeping it from folding fully, making it bulkier. My solution was the camping gear case. It gave me more leeway, with all my modifications and such.I use cheapo($20US) from Amazon, so far I really like it. Holds everything I have for the M2.
Same here, no need for anything elseThe stock combo pouch, didn't need anything more.
