Just a few minutes ago, I got an email from FAASafety saying this (I don't yet have my Part 107):
So it looks like they finally have the test to certify that pilots have the needed basic knowledge, FYI!
- If you do not hold a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate you must:
- Take the UAS Initial Aeronautical Knowledge Test
- Knowledge tests may be scheduled on the Airman Certificate Testing Service (ACTS) website and there is a fee associated
