Which Software for Macs?

New pilot but old photo/video shooter (TV news)

So I understand I need special software for post and stitching to create a good hyperlapse mov.

What software (preferably free as it’s a hobby) does everyone use or recommend?

I have a Mac but just use the Go app for mine and have imported some to iMovie to mess with .
me no good at editing but if not mistaken @BD0G posted something but can't find it at moment .

I use Davinci Resolve 15.2. It's free. Extremely powerful for edit, and color correction and grading.

However, if you use a color profile other than D-log, or D-Cinelike, then it maybe overkill for your needs.
