I gotta figure out for sure if it is in fact that left rear that is whining, then I'll let you know .what are we looking at $$If I were you, I would take a stab at self repair. Youre not going to make it worse, because right now its unpredictable.

I'm too lazy to go back and read the entire thread, but have you replaced all 4 props yet? That's probably the 1st thing I would do and see if it helps. Thanks for the input [emoji4]
No problem,I was going to ask about the littlest of scuffs and if that would make a difference,I did swap 3 of them but will do 4th when I get to it and before I fly again.I'm too lazy to go back and read the entire thread, but have you replaced all 4 props yet? Im not sure that scuffs would cause a noise but cracks or chips might. Most of the time it's more of a buzz when that happens. No problem,I was going to ask about the littlest of scuffs and if that would make a difference,I did swap 3 of them but will do 4th when I get to it and before I fly again.
Thanks again
Bob

I've come to the conclusion, it's the left front, both warmer(not hot) than the others, actually both front were warmer, left more so,the back 2 we're cooler, only flew for about 5 minutes and the sound was I believe from the left front, well I've got small torx, small Phillips and slotted but you got me on a spluger ,never heard of it but did see one in a video, basically a plastic pry so as not to scratch I think.Hi Rob,what is a 1.5mm torx,ie.t2,t3?
Good oneI just saw the thread title whining Sounds and the first thing I thought of was my wife ?
Sorry I couldn't resist. I do try to help other people from time to time with my (limited) knowledge but I mostly just lurk on the forum and occasionally try to give fellow members a laugh with an amusing comment.Good one
