I did not think that the GPS signals would be jammed as that would impact aircraft as well. I believe they are jamming the frequencies that Occusynk (sp?) and other flight control frequencies that are used by the various remote controls.

Will the Mini 2 using the smart controller be able to fly from predetermined waypoints?

I have an IPad Air on mine but the DJI controller does not grip the tablet holder enough and the holder falls off the controller. My only answer to date is to put a carved wooden locking tab that grips the two rods on the controller and a hole in the tablet mount together.

In order for the helicopter to see an ADSB equipped flying object, the helicopter has to have an ADSB receiver functioning, very few small airplanes/helicopters have the receivers installed. They all have ADSB transmitters but not necessarily a receiver.

I flew my Mavic Mini in icing conditions and snow, flew just fine, I do have motor shields installed, when I landed there was a lot of ice on the underside of each prop, brings me back to my Beaufort Sea rotary-wing days.

The batteries in your pocket may not perform as well when called upon but the one in the drone is warm from being in use.
