hey fellows....in Late October I am traveling from Atlanta to Seattle ( Go Hawks!! ) and I wanted to bring my Mavic as a carry on inside the plane. Any problems with the battery, will I be questioned and patted down by the rough guys at checkpoint ? Has anyone traveled with no problems ?

Nope, I am not updating it, I can fly anywhere and fly higher than 400ft. With the new firmware, I hear both are restricting areas and altitudes.

I know the regulations...but sometimes i like to fly over 400ft. Does DJI reports our flights to the FAA?

I see the app and transmiter have same firmware version... But aircraft is different. It flies perfectly. I am refusing to update the newest version with those restrictions and limitations.

Is calibration necessary? My drone is about 2 weeks old and I have never calibrated it. Flies perfectly using GPS and RTH flawless. I have read the most crashes, erratic flies and flyaways happens right after calibration.
