I agree entirely that that Mavic Pro is an excellent drone. I've owned two of them (I've also had a Mavic 2 Zoom), and I don't think you can do better for the money. There are a lot of used Mavic Pro's for sale on eBay for right around $600. I have no "issues" whatsoever with the MP.

I've used the Apple iPad Mini 4 for over a year and prefer it to the Android tablet I used to use. I also wear an umbrella hat to create my own shadow for a brighter image on the Mini 4: Umbrella Hat - Hat with Umbrella

I had line of sight the whole time - thanks to a very bright strobe light attached to the bottom of my Mavic Pro.

Thanks for being so conscientious. I created a few folders on my SD card and labeled each with some part of my contact info: my name, my address, my phone number, my email address. Thus, if someone used a file explorer and merely looked at the folders on the SD, they would see my info...

I grew up in Fort Dodge - not far from this farm, I'd think. Now I live in Ohio - and just this week made a Mavic Pro video of our soybean harvest: In retrospect, I should not have flown directly over the combines.

The Mavic Pro has a 2x optical zoom - which for my needs works fine.

. . . and the more you fly (especially the Mavic Pro!) the more confidence you'll gain in the craft and its amazing technology. Suggestion: When flying over water (rivers, lakes, whatever), maintain a clear line of sight (actually, I mean line of signal) between you and the drone. Don't fly...

I'm still sold on my Mavic Pro's 3-blade carbon fiber props. They're quiet, seem to increase flight time (battery life), and are very stable. I ordered mine from China, so there was a bit of a wait, but they're now available from dealers inside the US, I've heard: 4PCS Low-Noise Full Carbon...

my iPad 4 mini is the only Apple product I use - but it works great as a monitor for my Mavic Pro. I wish it were a bit brighter sometimes, but otherwise, excellent.
