Yeah resolution is a bit low. Here's a 1024x600 IPS screen with 900 nits and HDMI interface: NHD-7.0-HDMI-HR-RSXP-CTU [7.0in Diagonal - 189.68mm x 106.7mm (O.D.)] - $119.31 : Newhaven Display International, Inc.
They highest nit screen they offer can do 1100 cd/m2 but does not include a touch...
As some of us are looking for a bright tablet screen I was wondering if the idea of a do it yourself android device with a high nit screen a possibility?
There are some old threads in the DJI forums on running GO 4 on raspberry pi hardware: DJI Go 4 App for android and exotic setups experiments...
If you like the Mavic Mini case then you might be interested in a case from Smatree which is reasonably priced. I'm not personally interested in a hard plastic shell. They claim they will be releasing a Mavic Air 2 version of this case soon...
Anyone have an opinion on Fstop Lab filters? Looks like they just released a set that include ND4, 8, and 16 each with a CPL option.

Looks like 1.1.3 just posted. I've installed it on my iPad mini 4. I'm going to give this tablet another try and see if it resolves the overloaded CPU issues. I'm also going to take the step of power cycling the tablet before launching the app.

pross,
Based on information from another thread in this forums it sounds like AirSense could be a factor that's slowing down my mini 4. Ideally I do not want to disable that option.
EDIT: It's referenced in this thread and there's a video with an example: IPad Mini 4
So I purchased a used iPad mini 4 back when I bought the Mavic Mini last year. I've stopped using it with my new MA2 as I keep getting the dreaded CPU overloaded issue. For now I just use my S20+ and can screen record with no issues.
I'd like to try an 8" Android tablet this time as I don't...
I went with this cable which is slightly cheaper than the pgytech: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Z8W15SR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1&tag=mavicpilots-20
Ideally you'll want a lightning cable with a 90 degree connection.
Pics are located here: Tablet holder?
I picked up this tablet holder for my iPad mini along with a right angled lighting cable:

I recently purchased a used Ipad mini 4 on ebay to use exclusively with my Mavic Mini. It came with iOS 12.3.1. I see that iPadOS is now up to 13.3. Is there any reason I should upgrade to iPadOS? I don't want to impact the performance of DJI Fly. Thanks.
@RavenManiac , I just received the Ipad. I like the setup. The GPS works fine and I don't have to worry about the android drain/charge issue. Prior to this I was using my S10 with the controller. The only complaint I have is you can't use it with the Ipad case attached. Then again I had the same...
