Do you need an ND FILTER? (ND Filter Tutorial)
Can someone help me, Since the latest update, the Active Track doesn't show up the options of Spotlight, Profile, Trace. Also it takes an age to go back to Normal mode. Am I missing an icon to bring the options up?
Is it a phone thing? I'm on an HTC
Cheers.

Hello folks. I live at the beach (poor me, I know) but am in Illinois now around a forested area and wanted to try tracking some friends as they mountain bike on a circuit (not necessarily a trail but trees along their side). Will try spotlighting but would also like to try profile and tracking...
I have been requested to do a video about the maximum speed of Active Track. DJI claim the max speed has been increased to 15 m/s - 55kph - 34mph, so let’s find out ;-)
I'm being dramatic with my post title, but I did have a little scare with my Mavic today. In the past, loss of drone control is due to magnetic interference or a switch to ATTI Mode, confirmed by watching the flight log. I can find no explanation for my Mavic's sudden attempt to take my friends...
Yup. Sure can. We went out and tested some of the intelligent flight modes and my friend has a new Inspire 2 so I had him hover in the field and got above the inspire to allow better contrast. After a few fails with the Mavic oscillating in and out towards the Inspire, I finally got a nice lock...
Active tracking was not cooperating at all lol. It did much worse than the p4p. I'm hoping to get the Litchi and see if I could have better waypoints (DJI's waypoints have height limits but I wanted to go lower :( )
Active Track is one of the coolest features for Mavic Pro.
This flight mode will help you record cinematic footage. I made this Tutorial showing the different options under Active Track including how to use them and get the best out of it.
I used my Mavic Pro, GoPro 3+ black, Feiyu Tech WG Gimbal and GoPro 5 black to shoot a self made edit in 1 day. Really happy with how it all turned out!
Settings I used (firmware update defaulted the camera to settings I wouldn't normally use resulting in not ideal footage):
1080p
30fps
-1-1-1...
We love riding our electric unicycles and fly Mavic Pro so what better combination than taking them both to the MAX at a local airfield.
It was a strong wind 10-12m/s so the Mavic Pro was struggling at times. It was a super trip with fantastic weather, despite I managed to get a drone injury.
I was under the impression that Follow Me mode works by the quad locking in to the GPS signal on the device used (smartphone, etc). I was using this mode with my ipad mini 2 with wifi only (no cellular network - hense no GPS). Question is, it seemed to work fine in spite of this so maybe the...
Fooling around having fun making Mavic chase my car ;-) Active track is really a wonderful tool for creating great video. What have you been using Active Track for?

I'm finding that I can fly without ND filters with minimum stuttering by using one of the Intelligent Flight Modes like Active Track/Trace where it's all software controlled. In Normal Mode it's possible to minimize jittering if you're steady as a rock and can micro-control. I'm not, and it's...
I'm trying to active track myself skiing, and every time it tracks me but the altitude doesn't reduce quick enough and doesn't keep up with me even when I'm skiing slowly. The ski runs are quiet steep. Quiet frustrated any ideas I only have 1 more day here to get some footage....
Hello Lads,
Recently I have a problem with my obstacle sensors. They do not work. I cannot open active track becouse of vision sensors problems. I was trying to calibrate mavic again in DJI Assistant 2 but when I will go to this it is showing information about Incorrect Alignment Method and...
Today I tested out WiFi mode thinking it might be the solution to filming myself doing things like.. well anything really where I don't want to be constantly holding the controller in the video. Hiking for example. I thought it might be great to be able to launch the mavic, put it in active...
