As I looked out my driveway not to long ago
At my 32 cars .......
then came the gut check ....
Wife said should anything happen please don't burden me with your passion
I understood .........

Like my bother's has recently done
To their wive's.
So I did as she requested .... Well almost .
to date only 7 cars and for our 35 wedding anniversary I got a Mavic pro
And I've been thinking I've been real good so I've been in negotiations for a MP2

When I owned around 20 BMW motorcycles, my wife used to tell me, "what do you need so many for? You can only ride one at a time anyway."

Thats why Harleys owners credo is, "If I have to explain it, you wouldnt understand."

Looks like this is wandering but back to the water resist coating.
Odd this drifted to cars as one way to shed water is waxing your drone with some high quality auto wax.
Another would be to use some Rainx
Glass Water Repellents
Glass Water Repellents & Cleaners - Rain-X

Or even get some of that stuff you spray on your sneakers and shoes to waterproof them.
Just a couple of thoughts.
BTW in my driveway.....2008 Mercury Mariner supporting an organic shine .

Broad form Insurance about $100 a month ontop of full coverage from
"Name brand" insurance for the car's I really liked
