5 Alarm Fire in Queens, NY

captured a fierce 5 alarm fire last night near queens center mall with my little buddy. over 200 firefighters responded and thankfully no fatalities! i kept my distance so i wouldn't interfere with the emergency services.

Great video! I, for one, find it incredibly interesting to see how many fire trucks are there. So many, in fact, that it appears they're getting in each other's way. It looks like the line of trucks extends for several blocks, as far as the MP can see - just look at the red flashing lights on the buildings 2-3 blocks away. At some point, you have to wonder if the firefighters that have to walk (carrying their heavy gear) from 3 blocks away are not gonna get fatigued before they even get to fighting the fire.

Still, grateful they're there.
