Active a few years ago, with my mini2 , now unable to connect

My profile still active w dji. When I look at device in profile it shows bound to me but underneath in large red letters it says remove device from account. I didnt. When I purchased my mini used it had a partial protection plan left. Would this be what they are speaking of? Do I need to somehow contact company, if so how. Thanks Gregg
