Ala Carte grommet rings for lanyards?

Incoming Mini 3 due in tomorrow with smart controller. I like my hands free some times and have regularly been using lanyards with my other drones and already have 3 straps. I don't need another strap, but I will need those screw-in grommets with rings that the lanyards can attach to. Amazon has complete kits with the straps but sell for around $16. I just need the hardware to screw into the SC's base to attach the lanyard to.

Does anyone have a source for just the screw-ring parts?

Try McMaster Carr for small eyelets and plastic washers. They will have something you can use.

I came up with a cool looking lanyard mount with go-fast red screws. I found that M4 x 8mm PC case screws fit perfectly. I drilled holes through the knobs and attached a quick-disconnect camera strap. Cheap and easy. (FYI I wound in the screws until they were snug, then marked where the holes...

If the M4 x 8MM numbers are correct, try searching ebay for this.

I spent much time searching and ended up buying a strap just for the grommets
So I could use them with peak design quick release strap
This one is just what I wanted with the rubber washers to lock them nicely
And actually the strap is pretty nice too

I know you are probably looking for a double-point attachment (just grommets), but I wanted to share this just in case. I've been using these from GPC since the M2P SC and couldn't be happier. I prefer the single attachment point.

Made them myself.
Thread length is approximately 3/8 in.
Length can be made longer if needed.

I've been really happy with this set up from Amazon. I use the outer slots to connect the lanyard, and use the lanyard as the strap on my case as well. Nice slim design is aesthectically pleasing to my eyes.

This is what I've come up with so far, one eye screw turned out much larger than needed.

Those look very close to what I originally built. Are they made from aluminum?
I have shortened the head recently and make them from copper, brass and aluminum.

I would be interested in a set for the DJI RC, made of brass. just saying.
