I haven’t seen a custom made case for arms unfolded. I recommend buying a case that allows foam insets and you can cut to fit. Pelican and nanuk are good choices for waterproof long lasting case.

Received the Mavic Air Combo Explorer case from mc-cases.com

I returned my dacckit case. Way too tight of a fit. I think that design is flawed in nature. To keep a drone in place despite the case flipping requires pressure.

I’m leaning towards a bag like the Mavic Pro whereby the original air shell will fit.

there is a guy on ebay that sells them for like 35 bucks brand new. Thought it was going to be a knockoff but its legit bag.

How long was the Spark out before the cases starting flooding the market?

Bought a Pelican 1300 and lucked out that everything in the fly more combo fits.

@kon_jelly I'm very interested in the 910 - any worry about the weight of the drone on the props underneath? I really like the mavic air DJI case it came with as it supports the weight of the drone va a built in base and allows the props on the bottom to float.

It doesn't "float," but it does have some tension on the front and back of the drone so that the full weight isn't on the props. I personally don't worry about it and haven't had a single issue.

Question for Any of you guys who made your own with pluck foam and plasti dip...

Do you find the dip scratches/scuffs your stuff up? I'm about to undertake making my own shortly here and am curious about the dip affects the drone etc.

It will not scratch anything. It is a very soft rubber but it's like light rubber on a soft pores sponge. Use several light coats. Don't put it on heavy to start with. I also recommend that you spray it outside.

I've used plasti dip lots so I know it's good. But wife said don't scuff up the new toy lol

This case I got is normally 150 but was on clearance for 85. Has enough room for me to do it all plus my tablet. And refill foam is available if I need to change it in the future

Just need to start the plasti dipping and possibly painting the outside of the case neon orange like the nanuk 915 I was looking to buy lol.

This case cost less. And I can fit in a whole lot more stuff in this one. Win win
