Audio?

Yes, here are a few ways you could capture audio:
  • You can capture the audio from your mobile device (where you're standing) and use a video editor to combine that audio file with the recorded video. People sometimes do this to describe their flight (like when making tutorials for YouTube).

  • The aircraft does not have an onboard microphone, but you could attach some kind of lightweight recording device (like this one) to the aircraft to capture audio near the aircraft.

If they did incorporate a microphone on the M2 (or any drone for that matter), the sound of the motors would be too distracting when trying to capture audio... Especially sounds that are distant from the drone... (Anyone who has flown a drone equipped with a GoPro camera can attest to this).

For fun last winter, I attached a small keychain camera to my M2 and made a 40 second recording of it arming, taking off and then climbing to level flight.. (The mic sound and the M2 video were synced in post processing).
