They used a drone, I'm almost sure of it because of the low altitude and because of the manoeuvres it did: an helicopter coulndn't turn itself so quick.
Anybody know which drones they used? Judging by the speeds it reached, almost keeping the pace with the cars in a 120-140 km/h trait of circuit, it had to be at least an Inspire 2 running up to its max speed. Anybody know more?

Edit: I know there was a helicopter too, but these feeds were much different by those from the helo

Im not sure of that paticular shot, but I was watching the race on and off yesterday, and all the fast shots were done on a cable and trolly system.
That coarse is so big that im sure they have several cable trolly cams operating.
In one paticular shot, I clearly seen the white dolly as the camera was panning.

They use cable system over the the pit lanes and helicopter over the track.
 
The aerial shots were taken via a helicopter; the UK based Sky tv coverage did an article on it pre-race
