So I have legally acquired license for all the footages in this video so please lets not spend time discussing it :)

Instead I am looking for the feedback on the format of the video, editing and what needs to be improved and what you loved? as I learn a lot from your valuable feedback 💓

Thanks

Awesome job

Great photography ! I would agree with others that I didn't care for the music. There were several lake shots that were a bit too repetitive imo. One shot I loved was from above of a swimmer. Great variety of scenes. I would make it shorter to keep the viewers interest. Imo cut it almost in half. Great job.

How do you acquire the license for it?

IF they permit one person, you'd think they'd get a flood of applications for permits or licenses?

One of the best videos I have seen of Banff. I have been there but you really captured the scope of such a beautiful place. The narration was superb as well. Actually don't know what you could do better. Thank you!

I love everything. I’m a drone pilot and also a musician. I hate the music with its backlash rythm. Not appropriate at all for this environnement. It is too distractive…Sorry.

Not necessarily, I did the same on an interpretive project for a state park as a volunteer. They use it in their visitor center.

@FireFliesStudios—You've captured some stunning footage of Banff's natural wonders and told a compelling story through images and voiceover, but the video is a bit on the long side. One solution is to create more distinct section breaks by using fade out/fade in with some overlay text to identify the specific areas. Perhaps add some statistical facts about Banff National Park, such as "Established in 1885, Banff National Park represents the first such park in Canada."

The repetitive, driving beat of the soundtrack is distracting. Your images are majestic and professionally captured. They deserve an equally majestic and inspired soundtrack with sequences that build to a crescendo and diminish. I suggest finding a more cinematic and moving score. Overall, great work! And congratulations on obtaining a license for drone photography in Canadian parks. I'm sure that was a rigorous and lengthy process.

Amazing, and stunning footage of every single frame. I was there trying to get the same mountains and views, but of course, not allowed to mention the "D-word" (drone). You have, most certainly, captured the beauty, grandeur, and essence of Banff.

I would suggest the music track is not soaring enough for the subject, and that much of the footage has been over- saturated in post. The colors of Banff are indeed vivid but not THIS vivid.

Only my opinion.

Really loved the overall video! Been to Banff National Park (also Jasper and Yoho) and you have captured great views of multiple natural (lakes, mountain peaks, etc) and man-made (Banff Springs, Chateau Lake Louise, etc) landmarks.

IMHO, there are two areas for improvement. 1) the sound track needs to be different...just doesn't fit the visual grandeur that you have captured. 2) Tone down the saturation... the natural beauty of bluebird skies and azure lakes speak for themselves. No need to crank up the saturation so drastically.

Edit out the many repetitive shots, reducing it to under 2 minutes, leaving the viewer wanting more, and get rid of the annoying techno music. Otherwise, the techno music will immediately drive viewers away, and the 8 minute length will cause the rest to drop off within two minutes, which is the longest duration for a compelling You Tube video, as long as you keep their interest for the full two minutes.

Lots to love, but you also still have to kill some of your darlings for maximum engagement. Please also share the finished final version.
