Ok, that's what I thought; that's the disconnect.
We are talking about a different type of policy, not the one like yours.
Have a good day.

I was offered the same policy for the same price. But I asked for an endorsement that reimbursed at the cost of replacement with the latest comparable model. That raised the premium to $60/year (a 22% premium increase). So my thinking is that people eligible for a personal property policy from State Farm could opt for reimbursement at original purchase cost or upgrade to replacement cost at a higher premium.
functionally, my State Farm drone insurance is simple. I get up to $5000 of coverage for $60/year. I have listed my Mavic 3 and my Mini 3 Pro on the policy. At the time, the Mini 3 Pro was still available and hadn't been discontinued. I insured it for a replacement value of $850 for drone and battery
ok....maybe I wasn't concise enoughOk, that's fine but you kinda threw me for a loop when you mentioned a "specific" amount of coverage instead of "I got the same plan you got but I asked to upgrade it" and you mentioned adding a couple of drones to the same policy which I don't think it available to most of us....but you know what, that's good to know; we'll see when someone goes to sign up next time if this is available but I know it wasn't available to me but then again, that was more than 3 years ago.
