Buying drone on Amazon from unauthorized dealers..

I see a lot of "package" deals on Amazon that are tempting, however when I look up the dealer I don't find them in the "authorized" dealer list. I bought my Phantom 3 straight from DJI some years back. I don't need warranty issues if using unauthorized dealer.
Thoughts..advice?

There are many DJI drones and/or package deals being sold on Amazon by authorized DJI dealers. It should certainly be possible to find good deals from authorized DJI dealers on Amazon.

I don't think that matters if they are authorized or not if the drone that they sell is sealed from factory.

DJI claims it matters (for the US anyhow). However, I have seen a handful of people say they still got warranty service even after buying from sellers that weren't authorized DJI dealers. Maybe they just got lucky? Not sure.

Buyer beware, saving a few dollars is not always worth it. If they are selling for a lot less, how are they able to do it (used, refurbished, returned item)?

If it's factory sealed, easy to tell. If he is buying from Amazon. He have around a month to return it if it's not factory sealed.

I bought my Mavic Pro from one of the big retailers well over a year ago (my memory fails me) and it was a great deal in every way...i paid close to top $ but they included PROP guards with the purchase...soon after my purchase the prices came down..no regrets ...i did the same thing this week..i picked up an EVO at Best Buy...it included 2 extra batteries,a carry bag and extra props...AND a $100 Best Buy Gift card...bringing my purchase down to $ 899...SEALED and numbered box ..no monkey business no problems...i am amazed at the deal and it was made possible by a fellow member here who posted the info about the deal a week ago...the only down side...getting my old brain to be in gear and set it up...i am excited and wary at the same time...crap weather here AGAIN...hoping it will be a good day to FLY...Thanks All
