can't start or take off with joysticks

Since the last firmware update, I can no longer start or take off the mavic using the controller joysticks. I can only start and take off using the phone controls. The controller still connects properly and the joysticks still function once the drone is in flight, but both joysticks down will not take off. Any ideas?

Make sure you have Beginner Mode disable in the following section of DJI GO:



If it is disabled, then calibrate the remote controller in DJI GO like this:

Both js down will start the motors, it will not take off!

Thanks! I was always able to launch with joysticks in Beginner Mode before, but I'll give this a try.

You still should be able to as long as you have a good GPS connection.

Both js down will start the motors, it will not take off!

Down and in or down and to the outside will start the motors, but not straight down.
