Controller firmware update failure

When I attempted to upgrade the firmware on my controller there was an interruption of the connection so the update failed. When I retried the update the controller would not connect and would beep every five seconds or so. I tried to use dji assistant 2 but same thing happened. Also it cycles the usb connection on and off. Is there a way to reset the controller to a factory default and clear the error?

Hmmm, I have never seen where you couldn't do it through the Assistant 2. Maybe @Thunderdrones can help?

How old is the controller? If it's under warranty, you might have to send it in.

I retried and it successfully upgraded. I think it was an issue with the usb driver.
