Hi Ruud,

It was quite a challenge. I managed to find the only boat yard still open within 48 hrs! The guys were super helpful. They suited up for a salvage operation. It took them about an hour to get to the island and thanks to all those who autopsied the GPS tracking, it was found immediately at the precise indicated location.
I sent it back to DJI for a successful replacement. The battery was still working but I did not send it to DJI, thinking it was not safe to ship. The battery worked but would not allow takeoff. The replacement arrived with no battery. I have to find out if I can still get it replaced.
it cost me CAD $500 for their effort. So I did save a bit. Now I have two MA2s!
