I have now only DJY FLY on my Ipad mini and will turn off Histogram avd Overexposing. If I still will see "Mobil Device full" I guess I can through my I pad away?

Are you caching to the device ?

I would assume that message has to do with the device storage. Seems there's a word missing in the details given to know if that is the issue.

Cache video likely on and not set to delete older recordings.

Hi, yes cash is on.. but how to delate older? Isn't that auto?

You can change the amount of device storage used by the cache in the camera settings menu. Lowest setting is 2Gb.

Note when you reduce the cache size many of the older videos that may appear in your device's video gallery may disappear. On my android device all the cached videos appear in my photos/videos gallery, but as newer files get cached older files get deleted. If you want to keep any videos then get copies of them off the SD card in the drone. They're usually better quality too, as the cache just records 720p from the live feed, including and glitches in the feed.

In the Go4 app, there's also an option to control auto delete so if it's off and you reached your set limit, caching stops and you get a warning similar to yours.
But Fly doesn't have an option to disable auto delete.

There had been at least one report of an iOS showing app using gobs of storage even after clearing cache. Couldn't find where the usage was coming from. Ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Can't recall if it was Fly or Go.

What other aps are you running on the mini? I edit videos on mine (mini5) using lumafusion, and also use it to fly my MA2. I had some problems initially with running out of space on the mini until I learned how and what to upload to icloud. Being this was my first entry into the Apple world, it took me a couple months to get that all figured out. As far as the cache, in the fly app you can set how much space to use for the cache. I currently have mine set to 2gb. I only use the video in cache to have a quick look to see if I want to go back up and take a different look at something. After I have taken everything off the SD card, I delete the cache.

Hi ND,

I have no other aps on this IPad mini. But I think I solved the problem... I saw that there was "a load" of other pics that I deleted and I think that I can get rid of the warning. As I do to 99% only take photos I might be able to cash alot of 5-6Mb pics to the Ipad mini

You can set the cache size which auto deletes older files as it fills up. Also what size GB storage is on your IPad. Mine is 128GB but I get CPU full message as it’s a Mini air 4. Needs to be updated but still flies ok even with tat warning message.

For better live video feed it’s better to turn off the cache completely, on DJI Fly caching size is automatically set
