Well, I hoped I could dedicate iPad too, but I need to connect it to the internet for other reasons :-(

I connect mine to the internet, I update all other apps. The only annoyance is you need to remember not to do the Update All and skip DJI Go. You can also backup the older versions of the app and reinstall whichever you want through iTunes.

I'm not 100% sure if you can install a No Root firewall on an iso device? If you can this is the answer for you

Unfortunately, the Application switch is always green, after moving to the left it slides back :-(

Others are white, just this one is green.

Just a guess but try this -
Settings - iTunes & App Store - Apple ID - sign out.

Uncheck the slider that's causing you the issue.If it doesn't slide back sign back in with your Apple ID and see if it stays unchecked.

It might work.

There is just one switch now (Update)...
