DJI Mini 5 Pro in Amazon. Is this legit?

This is not the deal that the M5P was. With Mic 3 out you can get the Mini just about anywhere for the $99. B & H and Adorama have it at $99.
So it seems; although B&H is o-o-s....looks like the Mic Mini is priced lower pretty much everywhere. Other than using it with a drone for the audio, that would be my only purpose for now. I'll return it for BF is something better comes along.

Have been watching daily. Price of RC2 fly more standard battery has been stable at $1600-1700 USD. I guess that is the markup required for tariffs and the hassle of importing. I’ve seen some mini 4 pro back in stock but not worth it to me when the 5 is probably around the corner. I have the M3 pro for now. Looking forward to official release I guess, unless something better comes along.

Why would anyone in the U.S. want the standard battery version when it offers none of expected benefits of not broadcasting RID and being under 250g, and registration therefore still required? The Plus battery version offers 15 minutes more flight time for a few dollars more. Those in the EU cannot buy the Plus version, so the standard version is intended for the EU, but it still broadcasts RID, even though not required there.

....because I believe there are many Americans who plan to fly the M5P unregistered, regardless. You can't do that with the Plus page. Just read my previous post on the topic where it was repeatedly suggested "Don't worry about it; it's all good. No one is going to really care about ± 4 g" was the message.

GadgetGuy you make a lot of sense. If I need to register because it broadcasts RID, then why bother with the 250 weight limit? I registered my M3P just because. No because it was required, I just didn't;t want any hassles if law enforcement stopped me. I also have the TRUST proof in my wallet. I don't; really care whether registered or not. In the end, your point is valid and I will spring for the Plus when it available at the proper price.

All the hype is because there are some people who believe that broadcasting RID lets no-gooder folks find them and do them harm. Everyone is out to get them.
