DJI Mini 5 Pro in Amazon. Is this legit?

Home address is public information, and easier to connect to a car plate than RID information. Fact.
The license plate link to home address is not public information. You can get it, but you are usually paying for it.

With RID, you are getting the location of the person controlling the drone right at that moment. This is stoking the fears of a number of people on the forum.

A number of people on the forum have a default setting of fear.

Not sure what point you're making. Whether free or not wasn't my point.

Take a license plate. Get the owner it's registered to (easy). Find that person's address (easy).

Take the RID number transmitted from a drone. Connect it to the owner of the drone (hard, nearly impossible, FAA doesn't make these records publicly available). That is IF they registered at all with the FAA.

That's the point. Getting from a license plate to the car owner's home address is easy and straightforward. You might have to pay something to do it, but that's not the point.

Getting from an RID (serial # of the drone) to the owner's personal identification, and then their home address is hard to impossible.

Yes, RID gives the controlling station location in real-time. So yes, you can find the operator of the drone while they're flying it. This will only coincidentally be their home if they're flying from there, and much if not most of the time, not.

Ok, here are 4 different plates, please pick one, tell us the details. If you mind letting us know how easy it was to get the registered owner's name and his address then I think we can settle this quickly. You can't say hire a PI or call a cop friend or get a court order. Later I'll address how the RID details can be discovered much easier than you think:

The Iowa one on the back belongs to Michael Sinclair. It's co owned by Mylinda Sinclair

Is that enough or do you need their home address too?

Yes, address please. And then post the link (method) so we know this information is available to "everyone." I would really love to have access to such a database, it would come in handy for me sometimes. Thanks.

"The Iowa one on the back"??!?!? What are you talking about?

Sincerely confused.

Saw this banner; clicked on it. Hey, I'll get one, thanks for advertising it.

Then I see this on Amazon.com; no Prime, look at that ship date. Yikes! Pass.

Unlike all the M4P's and M5P's I got from Korea and Japan, I preorded the Adventure Combo from B&H yesterday. It shipped today. My photography tools refresh is now complete at least until Canon releases a new 400 2.8.

Unlike the drones, there's no insane markup on the 6 so there's no need to get these from eBay overseas. I think I'll wait to see how it goes, I'm still rocking the 4 but I think now is the time. Will probably defer the taxes at B&H when they get more later. I keep wanting to say I'm done but the Avata 360 is on my mind.
