If you're looking for help, you'll need to post your mobile device TXT and DAT flight logs here. You can find instructions for locating the TXT here and the DAT file here.

Sent to DJI why?

What was the set behaviour for signal lost? Land is one option.

You might consider performing your early flights in a wide open area away from suburbia.

Imagine what could happen if your new toy auto lands over a busy roadway. Potential chaos

Please post the logs. Some of the guys here will be able to figure out why it kept going after hitting the 2k limit, why it landed when you'd set it to return, and why your neighbors have above ground pools.

Very lucky for sure . . . and yeah, whoever is selling those above ground pools in town, is one heck of a marketer !!

Get to know all your settings and what you can expect when flying out in a large open flat area for sure . . .

As said, post your flight data, very easy to find / do via the links in post #2.

Glad to see you got it back undamaged, pretty lucky with all those power lines roads & pools in the area.

This looks like failsafe set to land instead of RTH. Attach a .TXT/.DAT log.

Very odd especially since by default failsafe is set to RTH and you say you hit the RTH button.

How did you take off after you found it? On screen or by "crossing" the sticks?

Nice and lucky save!

At least it wasn't like... This [emoji102]

Thats why i use the old power line i was about to film my house then connection lost when i did all setup to avoid any lost connection. I set return to home to be sure to not loosing the drone. Next flight will be in the open field when i will get the drone back.

I get the signal back when i was few feet from the drone then i use auto lift and manual control to get back where i found the signal back

I never close the remote i was using the gps map to retreive the drone and hoping to get signal back.

In looking at the video, at the time you supposedly lost connection, the yaw movement is not smooth, not to mention gimbal tilt changes. I suspect you had control the whole time.

Did you hit the physical RTH button on the remote itself, or the virtual land button on the screen? The latter would have you swipe to confirm though.
