Great advice. I suppose "whats in your fly bag" would be a cool discussion" probably already exists but I haven't searched it.See if you can get access to compressed air (pressure packs or compressor). You my need it to clean all the ash etc out of the motors etc.

One of main issues we have found is that wind speed often precludes a launching unless you alert somebody 20 km away who can grab it as it blows past

I'll take you up on the pressure pack idea. I have a portable "air tank". I'll set it up with a filter and blow nozzle. I have been using canned (computer) air. But it gets expensive. (lots of sand on the coast).
As to you comment about the wind.. ;0)
