If you are confused by that string of acronyms, you aren't alone.

Basically, the latest publications of DJI's FAA Remote ID Declaration of Compliances has a major issues. This include some of the older Mavic models.

Instead of having a range of approved RID serial numbers, it only has two. Only two. And they're simply filler serial numbers.

The FAA and DJI are working on fixing this, but in the mean time, this article will help with some of the confusion.

That was most helpful, Vic. Many thanks for posting. As the owner of two Mavic Air 2 drones, I’m going to follow “Option 1”: Wait for FAA and DJI to sort out the issue of RID-compliant serial numbers.
That's probably the best approach. We have 3 more months until we have to worry about it.

I'll have to wait for option 1. Whether I add the 0 at the end or not, it says invalid serial number.
I had that issue with my Phantom 4 Pro v2s. But after the updates, it worked on both of them.
