I always purchase the FlyMore packages with my drones…5 models now. I also purchase an extra battery making it an even 4. Not always, but, on more than enough occasions I have used all 4 batteries. I’m a hobby drone pilot…not commercial. I find the extra battery is a good insurance in case that special moment / subject arises that could upset a perfect shoot if down and out on power.

What’s your preference and is it working for you? The fly times do vary going back to the. Mini 2 to today’s Air 3S. So your preference may be model related.

LONG and safe flying

You didn't set an option for 0, which is likely the most popular one i.e. people buying flymore and keeping it at that.

I also only buy the fly more kits so starting out with a minimum of 3 or 4. when flying a camera drone, I will probably only use 2 or 3 for that session but it helps to have extras if you need them even though I have a power station (charger) with me. extra batteries for drone flights are for emergencies and when traveling.

however, when flying fpv, I end up quit flying after exhausting all batteries; if I had more probably would "fly more." For FPV, I have 8 and 9 batteries (for Avata and FPV). You really can't have enough and don't forget, that means you need extra hubs, too.

I don't buy drones when they launch but I certainly will start buying accessories (when they are on sale) and that includes the batteries. for example, the mavic 4 pro is coming out soon and I won't buy it until next year but let's say on Amazon day or BF, I have a 50% off coupon. I *might* be inclined to buy a $300 dji battery for $150.

I keep a Min of 4 for the Drones I have I try to get it to where The charged Batteries I have will last the amount of time it takes to charge More (Usually an hour or so)For My FPV's.....You never have enough! As many as I can cram in a BatBOX.
