Forced landing

I was told at the DJI forum to try here After updating I went flying and with the drone a long ways away and with 30% battery it forced landing . It stated that battery was criticaly low. I was over water when I lost signal near the shore and by the grace of something it landed on the beach at the edge of the water. Now when I got it back to the vehicle i put it up 10 feet and it still said low battery and forced the landing. My controller battery had one light on and second one flashing. Could that be why it forced a landing?. I thought it would just come back home if the controller went dead Here is the flight log attached Hoping for some answers Kelowna Drone World

To post your flight data there are a couple of options ...

1. Go to DJI Flight Log Viewer | Phantom Help
Follow the instructions there to upload your flight record from your phone or tablet.
That will give you a detailed report on the flight data.
Come back and post a link to the report it provides and someone might be able to analyse it and give you an understanding of the cause of the incident.

or
3. If you use Airdata, you can view the flight data on Airdata and post a link for the Airdata report
