Gday all
As I was so impressed with the info on this site when I was doing my pre-purchase research, I just had to join now I am a Mavic owner/pilot.
Many thanks to the admins & contributors for sharing their knowledge. A lively community is one of the reasons I chose to go with a DJI product.
I decided a Mavic 2 Zoom was the craft for me. I am new to drones & FPV but have been flying RC planes & helis on and off for 40+ years. Yes, I remember a time when helis didn't have gyros!
With this background, beginner mode on the maiden flight lasted about 3 mins. "P" mode for a couple of batteries now. Next flight will be sport, wish me luck
I live in the city of Adelaide, South Australia & am quite keen to contact any others around here. Places to fly locally are pretty limited so any suggestions from locals would be greatly appreciated. Also, not sure if there even are any but, any drone/flying clubs that people can recommend. Ive always enjoyed club flying in the past & the flying part of this hobby is just as important to me as learning the videography side.
Cheers
Steve
